A renovation of the public areas - living room, kitchen, dining area, and balcony for a family of four: a couple and two teenage daughters. A family that enjoys renewing and upgrading their home, and for whom this was the first time working with an interior designer.
The main structural intervention focused on correcting proportions: the TV wall was moved closer to the seating area, reducing an excessive five-meter distance and creating a more intimate, cozy living room. This change also allowed for a more generous dining area and significantly expanded the walk-in closet located behind the TV wall.
A seating bar was added to serve as a work-from-home spot, positioned opposite a mirror that reflects the park view seen from the balcony. Recessed, extra-high floor skirting was integrated throughout the space to enhance a refined, elegant look.
The design balances understated luxury with warmth, combining rich textures and layered materials while maintaining a calm, homely atmosphere. The kitchen features white acrylic cabinetry paired with white oak, echoed in the dining area and coffee table. A green sofa and a soft, warm rug in brown tones complete the space, creating a welcoming and cohesive home.
